The RCU includes a graphical display, keypad, and card reader all mounted in a heavy-duty metal enclosure. The RCU II features an active matrix color VGA display. A tactile alphanumeric keypad is standard on every RCU II. The RCU II features a proximity card reader. With the proximity reader, cards can be programmed for either captive or non-captive operation. (With captive operation, a card holder is included with the card reader). How is it Used? The RCU II is an integral component of Toptech’s TMS terminal management system. In addition, the RCU II can be incorporated with other control systems where a reliable user-interface device is needed. TMS uses the RCU II to control access to entry and exit gates, load racks, and BOL request stations, as well as a variety of other scenarios. TMS is capable of supporting customized prompts via the RCU II for entry of account number, order number, truck number, language selection and other critical information required at your facility.
