They may be used on a distribution system when used with a first stage regulator downstream in the piping system. The 64SR (with internal relief) may be used as a first stage regulator when set at 10 PSI. Suitable for liquid or vapour at temperatures below 150º F, these regulators are popular for use with crop dryers, high pressure burners and other medium sized commercial/industrial applications. With a capacity up to 38 million BTU/hr / 428 SCMH, the ype 299H is ideal for applications from large commercial sites to smaller multi-dwelling establishments. The unit comes with a 1-1/2 or 2-inch threaded NPT cast iron body with internal or external registration. Internal registration allows easy installation while external registration provides higher accuracy. A 2-inch / DN 50 flanged body and steel body material are also available. Alternate outlet settings from 3.5-inches w.c. / 9 mbar to 60 psig / 4,14 bar are available. The 299H model has a maximum inlet pressure rating of 150 psig / 10,3 bar, so it cannot be used as a first- stage regulator.
